The allover Baroque print, the 1461 is pure goth. Designed to look like traditional Victorian wallpaper, the craftsmanship that went into this 1461 is remarkable. Made with Crystal Suede, a black leather covered with purple, then printed with a gold screen. It’s a depth of coverage that ages and cracks over time—much like a peeled, cracked wall covering in an old Victorian mansion. The 1461 Baroque women’s shoe has all the classic Doc DNA, just reinterpreted: gold eyelets with contrasting black laces, black welt stitching, and a black heel loop with purple script. It’s constructed on our iconic air-cushioned sole, that's oil-and-fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance—and has been since 1960. This shoe is Goodyear-welted, meaning the upper and sole are sewn together in our heat-sealed z-welt stitch.
